Neue Publikation mit Nacaps-Daten zur Lebenszufriedenheit von Promovierenden im Verlauf der Corona-Pandemie

New publication with nacaps data on doctoral students’ life satisfaction throughout the Covid-19 pandemic

The article, entitled "Doctoral Students' Life Satisfaction Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic: Inequalities by Parenthood and Gender" by Mareike Rußmann, Ulrike Schwabe and Nicolai Netz shows how doctoral students’ life satisfaction has changed during the coronavirus pandemic and identifies the demographic groups most severely impacted.

A particularly salient finding is that, while childless doctoral students exhibited no change in life satisfaction levels in 2023 relative to the pre-pandemic period, doctoral students with children demonstrated a persistent decline in their satisfaction levels.
